Word of the day project

When I was brought up the idea of writing blogs I was attracted to the idea but there was a problem... I had no idea what to write about. I was racking my brain for ideas and looking in for inspiration until I came across an intriguing post. It was simple. Just a word and its meaning. When I saw that word a sentence with the word came up in my mind a sentence that would sound good in a story. Just then an idea popped into my head, "what if I make a word of the day with a story?" I thought to myself. That is how i came up with this project.

Now what is the project about exactly? Let me tell you. So the project consists of using a new word everyday and using it in a mini "scenario" as to say it. Here's an example with serendipity:

Serendipity: the effect by which one accidentally stumbles upon something truly wonderful, especially while looking for something entirely unrelated.

" The true serendipity she experienced was when she found her true love after she had left a horrible date with someone else and sought solace in the company of her best friend and he was there for her the entire time. He comforted her, made her some food, bought her snacks, and most importantly of all he always stood by her during her worst and during her best. There she realized that she wanted to be with no one other than him. He was her true soulmate."

That is an example of what I am going to be doing. Basically I am putting a little twist on the already know "word of the day" thing. I am broadening your vocabulary and my own with short scenarios.
